How can I put some photos in the forum? I know how to put a link in but not the photos as all other members do... can you help me?

Hi @Doro

You need to use the insert image button. Click on it...past the link in the screen and then we'll see right away your photo in your post.

There's a second possibility; write before the link [img] and after the link [/img]

Rules about posting pictures.
Posting pictures in messages could be very usefull so this is allowed. But please remember - 1 message can contain only 2 pictures. If you have more, please put them as a link. Also when quoting pictures, please make them a link, do not quote images!
When you have member pictures to put it in the photo-theme, there you may put up to 8 pictures in 1 message. When you have more pictures to show, please use links. Posted images should be not larger than 480 x 640 or 640 x 480 pixel. Images that are larger than this will be converted to a link without notice.

Please put the pictures under eachother in stead of all besides eachother!!!

I wanne give some more infomation about posting pictures.
Surfing the photosection I see regulary links and not photos,if I go to a photosection then I expected photos.
In one single post you may post 8 pictures/photos, wanne post more use another post.
I you wanne quote to a photo then you had to add the link.

Also in the show us you face topic I see regulary links, please add the photo (its a a topic that is made for photos). But there are more topics like this.

When you follow this lines it quite simple
- When it is a regulary forumtopic you may add 2 photos in one post, when you wanne add more please use links.
- When it is forumtopic where you expected photos you may add till 8 photos in a post.
- Please do not quote added photos, use links

Thanks, but i still don't know how to do it, i have posted about three pics in different topics and now when i want to post one pic, i read that i cannot because i have overcame 3OOKB. What i do wrong?

You have to go to http://www.photobucket.com and make an account. If you do, there you can upload pics from you computer. If you Did than you can get image code. You get this code when you are with your house on the picture you want to post on this forum. Copy the code and put it on the topic on the forum. Than will we be alle to see your picture.

Ok Joy, thanks, but in that way i will post only links, don't I? And if i want to do what you did on your Turkey topic, i must use the fotobucket too?

When you do like i write with photobucket and use image codes Yes it is like a link. But when you send it on the forum it will appear like whole pics like i Did in Turkey topic and Paddy photo topics..... good Luck

The reason for this is because you use the attachment for showing pictures. Every member can upload pictures but they only have 300 kb to this. Normaly people use this for images like show us your face.

They reason why people only can upload 300 kb is because you can upload on different pages of the internet your photos for free and link them to your post.

I give you the instructions.
You can go to http://imageshack.us/, here you can upload any photo without signing in (if you wanne delete your uploaded photo you had to sign in first).
1. click on BROWSE and search on your computer where your photos are located.
2. choose the photo you wanne add and click on UPLOAD NOW
3. After a few seconds you will see that your photo is uploaded to Imageshack
4. After you have uploaded the photo (in imamageshack you see a list of codes, one of the is called Direct Link copy this code.

Now its time to add the photo to your post in the forum.

5. Go to the forum and click on the reply button of the post where wanne answering.
Sometimes you had to do this twice because you must say that your computer is allowed to do this

6. Pase the code you have copied at point 4 and click on OK

But you can also use Imageshack:

On both sites you can choose an option for the size of your photo's.
The max allowed size for the forum is 640 x 480.
