Great poems / songs everyone!
I've also written a song two years ago and it's a sad song about lovesickness:

Leave the station

Our love we had was like a train that never came
You know I always was the one you used to blame
You have never tried to put your trust in me
To save us was too late this love wasn't meant to be

Believe me I didn't want to escape
But I couldn't stand those feelings I hate
So let's just leave the station the train won't arrive
Don't you see the pain inside?

Your reckless words were just more than I could bear
Like in all these moments we used to share
Your heart was only filled with anger at the end
But why do you still want to hold my hand?

Believe me I didn't want to escape
But I couldn't stand those feelings I hate
So let's just leave the station the train won't arrive
Don't you see the pain inside?

And now I'm standing here to wash away this misery
This painful rain is drenching in my sanity
And the only thought that was crossing my mind
I can't believe that this love's got me blind

Believe me I didn't want to escape
But I couldn't stand those feelings I hate
So let's just leave the station the train won't arrive
Don't you see the pain inside?

The way you love me

Is so hard to believe
That someone can actually
Love you
With all your feelings
You can actually
Return the love back

The way you love me
Is so amazing
The way you look into my eyes
Show me that you
Really care about me

Nothing was the same
After you leave me
All you couldn't take
Was my love for you
That stayed the same
Like in the first day

The way you love me
Is so amazing
The way you look into my eyes
Show me that you
Really care about me;

This was the first one,now one for christmas:

Oh,baby Jesus

Oh,baby Jesus,
You have gave us life through your birth,
Oh,baby Jesus,
You were boron in a wonderful day.

The smile on your face,
The kindness in your eyes,
Makes me wish peace,
Peace in this world

Oh,baby Jesus,
You have gave us life through your birth,
Oh,baby Jesus,
You were boron in a wonderful day.

Your birth made me wish
A better world, made me wish
A peaceful world,peace among peaple,
Wonderful things.

Oh,baby Jesus,
You have gave us life through your birth,
Oh,baby Jesus,
You were boron in a wonderful day.

You helped us understand
The real sense of life,
The real sense of friendship,
You showed us how to treat people,
You are our friend.

Oh,baby Jesus,
You have gave us life through your birth,
Oh,baby Jesus,
You were boron in a wonderful day.

You were born in a wonderful day,
And now we are celebtrating your birth,
Your kindness and your holy,
You are with us everywhere,everyday,
You are with us in every moment.

Oh,baby Jesus,
You have gave us life through your birth,
Oh,baby Jesus,
You were boron in a wonderful day.

You are our friend!

I wrote this awhile agoe.
When my aprents foght alot.

Crapy

Her worlds a mess.
With all her stress.
She wonts to cry.
Should she die.
She passes out.
Onto the grout.
Seeing red.
From her head.
How could she servive.
She wasn't even alive.
The angels for above .
Tulk her like a dove.
She's now happy.
With nothing crapy.

Sorry It's realy sad.

every once in awhile I make an attempt at writing poems.

I'm surely no Yeats or Goethe, but I don't think they're all that horrible Big Grin

here's one to start off with!

Show Me

Show me; show me what?
Show the world to me; show me what you’ve got.
My old eyes are tired; I’ve seen it all before
I’ll look again with you, show me more

I’m wasted; take away these memories
Beckon me to sleep underneath those trees
Take me there; show me how to laugh again
Hold me in your arms and take away this pain

Hold me softly; don’t push me too hard
I can’t stand that much anymore
Give me time to let down my guard
Don’t ask me those questions, that spot is sore

Don’t go please, I’ll tell you in time
Don’t force me to tell you, trust me
I will soon, but for now the answers are mine
Don’t dwell, there’s more to do, to see

*

Too much to see, or too much to ask?
Drop the act; drop your mask.
I’ve showed you mine; now show me yours
Stop imitating me, open your heart, open the doors

Bare your fears your hopes
Over come the fear of sloping slopes
Tell me something you can’t do
Who’s helping here, me or you?

Don’t look that way, look here
Look at me; let your mind go clear
See my problems, troubles, dying elf
Who are you looking at? You or Myself?

*

Alone again, lost the friend who wasn’t real
Kidding myself, facing the fact that I can’t feel
You, Me; what’s the difference, if any
We can share my problems, I’ve got many

What’s the point, chilled right to the bone
Fact is, I do this cause I cant do it alone
Bury myself in Work, my sanity’s slowly gliding
Why always me, why can’t I stop hiding?

Sadness, you don't have to feel sadness
You don't have to feel sadness
No it seems only madness
In this world of pain

HailHailHail @ Jesse, you really great! You shold keep on writting!

I would rather fly with eagles,
to the snow hills
I would rather run with wolves,
between the trees
I would rather be with trees,
than in the middle of noisy streets

I'm glad you like it! Knuddel

Here is another one (a bit shorter this time!)

Hycathie

Some say I’m bitter
staring up into the starless night
thinking of you
dreaming, dreading everythings alright

What they say is true
I weep, I scream, and i wonder why
i shout into the silence
but lately i’m even too weak to cry

I know’s she’s free now
with boys lining up outside her door
I lost her in the fog
or she lost me, I wanted more

And so I’m lonely now
withered, well past my prime
that’s what sadness does to you
but i will heal, just give me time

Now let me tell you this, Boys
I was the first, I Adonis, she my Bride
I loved her when she cried
I loved her when she fell apart at night

Pretty eyes tell pretty lies
she’s just like me, indifferent
letting you kiss away her pain
whilst i cry and kiss the rain

And that’s the end
she doesnt want me back
we’re away from eachother, torn apart
but secretly she’s the only one holding my heart

Sadness, you don't have to feel sadness
You don't have to feel sadness
No it seems only madness
In this world of pain

Thank you, Thank you Hail I am glad you all enjoy them!

Here is another one:

Afterglow

It's only the darkness outside that makes me feel
It's the only time I can show myself to the world
I've come out, looking for something new to steal
Let my heart fly out, twisted by the wind, twirled

I've found you this way once before some time ago
Shining like a star, this must be true love's afterglow
It's making me fly, float, trans-world space shifting
Let myself get carried by the wind, helplessly drifting

Drifting away from you and drifting back to me
Swaying like a fairy back to where I'm not afraid to be
Hand me my heart that I gave you, and set me free
It's someone else now who hold's the Key

Floating through the night sky I can still remember
Those long dark nights of happiness late last December
I'll forget them now and keep them safely inside of me
I'll remember you always, you who loved me but couldn't see

I dread the dawn each morning, I'm afraid of the sun
It shows my true colours, shows that I've come undone
It also takes away the feeling of comfort, the one I've lost
It takes away more than that, get's hold of me, breathes frost

So this is the end, cold, white, drifting in the breeze
Floating over memories, feelings, deep as oceans, seas
I'll learn to love myself again, smile, dance, let myself go
This is what it feels like to be free, enjoying the afterglow

Sadness, you don't have to feel sadness
You don't have to feel sadness
No it seems only madness
In this world of pain

how could I possibly say no to such a lovely lady like you? Shy

Walking along the Beach with You

I walked on the beach, last night in my dreams
I felt alone; I was just walking
I didn't know where I was walking to, or why
I felt empty, was floating, being carried by the wind

I didn't realise there was no reason to feel so alone
But I do know now, now that I know you
I wasn't alone at the beach last night
And the footsteps in the sand weren't mine

They were yours, small signs of affection printed in the sand
You were lifting me, carrying me through these times
Sometimes when I feel like I'm gonna fall, I cry
But I can just hold on to you, I know you wont let me fall

I wonder sometimes what would I do without you
I'd crumble, lose my colours, and forget myself
But as I'm here in your arms, you hold me tight
And that's what keeps me holding on, is you holding onto me

At the same time, while you are holding me
My heart beats next to yours, soothing you
Knowing we're not alone, being lonesome together
Holding each other over a million miles distance

If I could make you any better, I'd give what it would take
To give back just a small part of what you have given me
And if I could, I'd see you on that beach each night
And hold you just like you hold me, holding you tight

We'd watch the starts together, watch the sun come up
I'd sit there as long as it takes, sit there with only you
Trace the outline of your heart with my fingers on your chest
Because of all the people I know, you make me feel the best

Sadness, you don't have to feel sadness
You don't have to feel sadness
No it seems only madness
In this world of pain
