Hello girlfriends of Kelly!

There is little time, I was lucky enough to find what I thought was unthinkable!
And yes, I am a huge fan of both Irish siblings, The Kelly, but the Corrs! I opened a topic here:

Well, thanks to this discovery, I just learned that the biggest fans of my beloved Corrs, have perhaps our Kelly! And yes, this album because they pay homage to their 14 major reprennant chasons the Corr siblings! I'm in heaven ...

Last night the forum was offline for a few hours.
The reason for this was because I reached the bandwidth.
I tried to solve this bandwidth problem and I did a few things.

I delete about 9000 old posts in the Kelly games section older as 8 months active.

I make some parts only vissible for users

And I hope the most important I monitored the IP addresses and I saw two addresses who are allmost 24 hours online every day. This are no users and also where on page that are invissible for them. My reaction was that this are spiders. By banning this IP addresses the guests who are online became 70% lower. I think this 70% are all spiders and I think and HOPE this will work.

Okay, here is a new story. It was hard to think about a title, but now, looking at the main characters, I guess the title describes them both.
I hope you will like the story. I'm already waiting for the first reactions.....

Chapter 1

“Hi Brenda, nice to see you back at work again! How has your holiday been?”
Vera was very happy to see her favourite colleague back again, after 3 weeks.
“Hmmm, it was okay,” she said.
“That doesn’t sound convincing…..”
“Well, you know how it goes. Martin wants to stay at home and sleeps most of the day and when he wakes up, he’s in an awful mood. So that was mainly how an ordinary day went by.”
“Was it that bad again, huh? Then you are probably glad that you could come to work again?”
“Actually I am, yes. We had many fights too. Sometimes I don’t know how long I can take this…..”
Then Vera remembered when she visited Brenda’s house once and Brenda’s husband Martin from one second to the other started to yell at Brenda and stayed in a bad mood for the rest of the day. ‘I’m so sorry for Brenda,’ Vera thought. Brenda really deserved a man who makes her happy, but instead, Brenda had been changed into a woman who was not completely herself anymore, always a bit frightened.

Vera and Brenda both worked in a hospital as a nurse. Brenda was even specialised in palliative care, that’s why also other units in the hospital often asked Brenda to help out. This work was very fulfilling for Brenda. But it was also that work, which caused troubles in her marriage. Sometimes, Brenda had to stay longer at the hospital as planned and then she already knew that when she would get home, Martin would be very angry. And yes, she was glad to be back at the hospital again. Back to her patients, who were mostly very thankful and appreciated what she did for her. Because Brenda was so loving and caring, also the family of the patients liked her. During the short time patients were there, Brenda was mostly able to build up a good relationship between the patients, their family and herself. She couldn’t imagine having an other job. And since she had done that special education for palliative care, her work had even become more interesting. Her working day usually started with a team meeting in which all the patients in the unit were discussed, just like today.

“So, what’s new?” Brenda asked.
“At first we have to send you the best greetings from Mrs. Higgins,” team leader Martha said.
“Mrs. Higgins? Is she……..” Brenda said surprised.
“We moved her to a room only for herself yesterday night. The situation is getting worse. We hoped that she could go to a nursering home, but she is too weak. So that is why we decided to let her stay here, until she will pass away. We think it won’t last long now, maybe a week. Mrs. Higgins was joking 2 weeks ago, that she didn’t want to die during your holiday. She wanted to wait until you would be back. I guess she really meant it. But that also means, we need your special help and care with her, Brenda.”
“No problem, I will check on her after this meeting.”
“Okay, let’s go through the rest of the patients list.”, Martha continued.

All the patients were discussed. And then Martha ended the meeting with the last announcement:
As you all know, our pastoral worker, Mr. Johnsson retired last week. His name is Alexander Brennan. If you need him, you can call him any time. He took over Mr. Johnssons phone number, so that is easy. I heard that he will come by this week to introduce himself. Maybe some of you have seen the new pastoral worker already? I heard he was here to visit Mrs. Higgins shortly yesterday……
“Oh yes, I have seen him……,” Daisy, the youngest member of the unit team said, with a big smile.
“You look like you’re impressed by him, Daisy,” Martha said.
“He’s…… cute. But I guess he’s too old for me.”
“How old is he?” Vera wanted to know.
“I don’t know, but as far as I can guess his age, he must be in his thirties.”
“That’s definitely too old for you, Daisy.”
“I know, but I will be 20 soon,” Daisy said, with a big grin on her face.
“I must agree with Daisy, he doesn’t look bad at all and he seems to be a nice person too. And Mrs. Higgins also liked him, she said,” Martha agreed.

Brenda was surprised that things didn’t change that much. Some patients were healthy again and went home. There were some new patients and she already knew that Mr. Johnsson would retire. In her job, she used to have a lot of contact with Mr. Johnsson and she always went along very well with him. But now he was old enough to retire and enjoy his days, now he wouldn’t have to work anymore. She hoped she would get along with the new pastoral worker as well as she did with Mr. Johnsson.

After the meeting, Brenda went to Mrs. Higgins.
“There you are…… at last,” Mrs. Higgins said.
“Yes, how come you’re still here?”
“I already said that I didn’t feel like dying during your holiday, so I decided to wait until you would be back. Is that okay with you?”
“You still have your humour….. Of course it’s okay. It’s nice to see you. How are you doing, Mrs. Higgins?”
“Not good. I feel I am getting weaker every day. At first they wanted to move me to a nursering home, but there they can’t give me the care I need. All I can do is stay in bed and wait until my day has come, I guess……”
Brenda decided not to say that Mrs. Higgins had to get herself a bit together, but then she asked: “Well, Mrs. Higgins, what can I do for you?”
“Maybe you can call my children? They live in Australia, maybe it is best for them to start arranging their trip to here. It would be a pity if they wouldn’t be here on time and I want to say goodbye to them.”
“That’s no problem. Their phone numbers are in your medical record. Is there something else?”
“Yes...... yesterday I talked to a wonderful person. He replaces Mr. Johnsson….. I don’t know his name anymore…….”
“Mr. Brennan. Yes, my colleagues told me he already visited you.”
“That’s right. Could you ask him to come and visit me again? It was so refreshing to talk with him.”
“All right, I will call him. Is there something else I can do for you?”
“Can you bring me some water? That would be all for now.”
“Sure! I will bring you the water and I will call your children and mr. Brennan.”
“Thanks sweetie, what would I do without you…..”
“Then there would be an other nurse, taking care of you.”
“Yes, but not as good as you. I’m very thankful for all you have done so far, and for all you will do.”
“It’s my job and I try to do it as good as possible.”
“It’s not only your job, it’s your life and you do your job with all your heart and with passion. I see that and I feel that.”
“You’re probably right, Mrs. Higgins. But now I will get you some water and make some phonecalls. I have to find out what time it is in Australia, I don’t want to wake your children up.”
“That’s okay, just do so, nurse Brenda.”
Brenda always felt sorry for Mrs. Higgins. Nobody came to see her. She was already 96 years old, all her family lived in Australia, her husband died already 20 years ago. Mrs. Higgins was a lonely woman, she sometimes got visits from volunteers from the hospital, who visited people who have no family anymore. And then there was the pastoral worker and the nurses, who took care of her, and that was it……

Brenda found out that it was 20.30 in Australia, so now she could still make the phonecalls to both of Mrs. Higgins’ children. Brenda explained the situation and they both promised to try to book an airplane ticket as soon as possible. Then Brenda called Mr. Brennan to ask for an appointment. She dialled the phone number, which was so familiar to her. Soon, she heard a nice voice:
“Alexander Brennan speaking…..”
“Yes, this is Brenda Taylor from Unit 8 speaking.”
“Good morning nurse Taylor.”
“Please, you can call me Brenda, that’s what Mr. Johnsson always did too.”
“Ah…..Okay……. Brenda. Then please call me Alexander, okay? Can I help you?”
“You have visited Mrs. Higgins yesterday.”
“Oh yes, that nice old Australian lady…..”
“Right! Mrs. Higgins asked for a new appointment again. Do you have time to see her today or tomorrow?”
“Hmmm…. Let’s see……. I can come to her at 15.00. Is that okay? I don’t want to disturb any treatments or something like that.”
“15.00 would be perfect.”
“Okay, then I will be there. What was her room number again?”
“We moved her to an other room yesterday night, now she has a room for herself. Just come to the unit reception, then I will bring you to her room.”
“All right. I was planning to come by anyway, I still have to introduce myself officially. Well, nurse Taylor……. Uhhhhhmmmm….. Brenda, see you later!”
“Thank you, and see you in the afternoon then!”

Brenda had no choice to like Alexander Brennan already. He was so polite on the phone. A typical pastoral worker, she thought. And he also remembered Mrs. Higgins, who she was and that she was Australian from origin. Brenda guessed that Mrs. Higgins already told him a lot and he still knew it. That was a good sign. Brenda wanted to tell Mrs. Higgins about the appointment, but Mrs. Higgins was asleep. She decided not to wake her up.

Later Mrs. Higgins’ son called to say that it would last a week before he and his sister could get an airplane. They had to arrange too many things. But of course they wanted to say goodbye to their mother and they would stay until she would die and then take her with them back to Australia, where Mrs. Higgins was born and wanted to be buried. Brenda took care of the other patients in the unit and it was lunch break before she knew it……

In the past few weeks I am working on this "project" in which I want to make a nice Fan website about Paddy. The website is not finished at all and will especially be about Paddy. I will write reports of the concerts of him I visited and post also my selfmade pictures there (with a watermark, because I don't want the pictures to end for sale on Ebay or on other websites!). You can already check it out, because for example I have posted some pictures of Paddy of his Stille Nacht Concert in Essen, which you haven't seen in this forum yet. I will post some pictures of Paddy in Halle and Frankfurt soon (maybe already tonight!).

I'm working on Paddy's Biography too, I simply don't want to copy and past already existed biographies of him, so that will take some time.

He earned several years earlier the times WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS medals.
His participation is now overshadowed by bad luck.
Because of his disability Adriaan need a custom car and he need your help!
As an artist I have pledged my full cooperation, and will do everything to help Adriaan.
